Tom Harris (Director)

Tom is the founder of Global Aviation Specialists. Tom has over 25 years experience in aviation. He started his career in 1996 as an aircraft electrical and avionics technician in the RAF. In 2006 Tom completed training as an Air Traffic Controller. Since 2006, Tom has gained extensive experience as an air traffic controller, instructor, assessor and has held the role of Manager Air Traffic and is currently employed as a Watch Manager at Birmingham Airport. Tom regularly delivers training courses in a number of subjects for Global Aviation Specialists as well as Initial Training Organizations.

Mitchell Nunes (Director)

Mitchell Nunes is the latest member of Global Aviation Specialists executive team. He is also managing director of Fly-by NUNES Ltd. Mitchell has over 20 years experience and knowledge in the aviation industry including:

Mitchell is a Subject Matter Expert in Procedure Design, providing consultancy and advice, IFP Design and Safeguarding as part of the complement of services offered by Fly-by NUNES, and he has 76 hours logged in flight training as a private pilot, having passed all Private Pilot theory examinations through the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
